Ana Lua Caiano explores musical fusion, through the combination of traditional Portuguese music with electronic music, creating melodies that refer to tradition, in a union with synthesizers, beat machines and sounds taken from everyday life. Ana Lua Caiano's first full-length release arrives in March, after Ana Lua Caiano has performed, last year, on several stages across the country, at festivals such as NOS Alive, Festival Músicas do Mundo de Sines, MIL Lisboa, among several others, also debuting on international dates, visiting cities such as Vigo (ES), Madrid (ES), Luxembourg City (LUX) and festivals such as BIME (Bilbao, ES), Fira B!, (Mallorca, ES) and the ACC World Music Festival (Gwangju, South Korea). Ana Lua Caiano is nominated for the MME Awards, the European Union awards that celebrate emerging artists who represent the European sound of today and the future, a nomination that represents a recognition of the work that each artist has done in their country, as well as the its internationalization potential. This year already has more than 30 confirmed shows, including the festivals EUROSONIC Noorderslag (Netherlands), Primavera Sound (Porto), MEO Kalorama (Lisbon), MENT (Ljubljana), Babel Music (Marseille), among other national and international dates to be announced soon.
